Shaheen Shah Afridi Likely to Replace Shadab Khan as a Vice-Captain

Shaheen Shah Afridi, the fast bowler, might soon become the vice-captain for Pakistan's ODI and T20I cricket teams. This change is being considered because of Shadab Khan's recent poor performance.

Shadab Khan hasn't been playing his best recently. In the Asia Cup 2023, he only took six wickets in five games, and his average score was not great. Some people are unhappy that he's still in the team, and they think Captain Babar Azam keeps choosing him even though he's not doing well.

On the other hand, Shaheen Shah Afridi is doing well. He has played many games for Pakistan and taken many wickets. He's also shown that he can be a leader. He was the Lahore Qalandars team captain in the Pakistan Super League and helped them win twice in a row.

The Pakistan team has some challenges ahead. The ICC Cricket World Cup will start on October 5 in India, and there are questions about Babar Azam's decisions as captain. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) also worries about the team's performance.

But Chaudhry Zaka Ashraf, the head of the PCB, is working hard to fix things. Many believe that Babar Azam will still be the captain for the World Cup. With all these talks, fans hope Shaheen Shah Afridi will be the new vice-captain. He could help Pakistan do well in the World Cup with his skills.
