Nawaz Sharif Sets Return Date to Pakistan, Shehbaz Sharif Ensures Preparations

Former Prime Minister of Pakistan and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo, Nawaz Sharif, is all set to make his anticipated return to Pakistan on October 21, as confirmed by PML-N President, Shehbaz Sharif.

This announcement follows a meeting in which Shehbaz Sharif and former Defence Minister, Khawaja Asif, convened with Nawaz Sharif. Post-meeting, Shehbaz Sharif relayed the party's collective decision regarding the former PM's return. "Nawaz Sharif will land in Lahore on October 21, where he will be accorded a grand welcome," he confirmed.

Preparations to mark the PML-N chief’s return are already underway. To ensure everything is in place for Nawaz Sharif's return, Shehbaz Sharif will be visiting Lahore shortly. Moreover, sources have shed light on Shehbaz's plans to perform Umrah before his return, implying he will be coming back to Lahore from Jeddah.

Party insiders have revealed that PML-N workers nationwide have received instructions to assemble in Lahore, ensuring a rousing welcome for Nawaz Sharif upon his arrival. The call to mobilize underscores the significance of Nawaz Sharif's return and the party's intent to make it a landmark occasion.

Nawaz Sharif, while addressing PML-N workers in London, affirmed his decision to return to Pakistan the following month. The former premier didn't miss the chance to share his aspirations for the nation during this meeting. He pledged his commitment to steer Pakistan towards a path of prosperity, emphasizing the need to rectify past mistakes for a brighter future. Taking a subtle jab at his detractors, he commented, "Some individuals have manipulated the nation's destiny, driven by their personal agendas."

Earlier, in a strong statement of support, Shehbaz Sharif had assured the public of his brother's intention to face the legal challenges awaiting him in Pakistan. Emphasizing the importance of holding individuals accountable, he remarked, "Ensuring accountability is essential for driving the nation forward."

Nawaz Sharif's return is being keenly observed by political pundits and the masses alike. As a significant political figure, his comeback is expected to ripple through Pakistan's political landscape, and the preparations being made by PML-N only highlight the magnitude of this event.
