Chery’s PHEVs for a Sustainable Pakistan: Combating Air Pollution

Air pollution has become a major problem in Pakistan, making it the seventh most vulnerable country to climate change caused by air pollution. In response, Chery, one of the earliest auto companies to engage in R&D of new energy technologies, is introducing new energy vehicles to Pakistan to address this issue.

Introducing Chery’s New Energy Vehicles in Pakistan

During Chery’s 2023 Global Dealer Theme Conference, dealers tested and drove core Chery models. The two plug-in hybrid products of the TIGGO family, the TIGGO 8 PRO e+ and the TIGGO 7 PRO e+, fully demonstrate Chery’s leading technical strength in hybrid power with their all-around performance of lower energy consumption and stronger power. Chery’s 1.5T hybrid engine, equipped with the TIGGO 8 PRO e+, can accelerate to 7.5 seconds per 100 km. These vehicles are a powerful solution to facilitate Pakistan’s transition from fuel to electric vehicles.

Chery’s New Energy Vehicles: A Solution for Limited Infrastructure

Limited infrastructure is one of the main challenges in transforming from fuel-powered vehicles to electric vehicles in Pakistan. By combining the advantages of pure electric vehicles (EVs) and hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs), PHEVs can achieve pure electric, low-emission driving and increase the vehicle’s driving range through the hybrid mode. Chery’s PHEVs are the perfect solution to this challenge.

Chery’s Green Public Welfare Fund Plan: A New Milestone in Corporate Social Responsibility
In addition to introducing new energy vehicles in Pakistan, Chery has recently announced the creation of a Green Public Welfare Fund Plan, signaling a new pinnacle in Chery’s corporate social responsibility in its global strategy. Chery has played a role in the aftermath of the major earthquake in Türkiye, in public welfare activities for women in Kuwait, and in supporting children at the winter games in Pakistan, among others.

Chery is committed to creating a greener and more sustainable future for Pakistan. In the future development, Chery aims to conduct more activities with various types of Pakistani public welfare organizations to showcase the warmth and humanistic love of the Chery brand and jointly create a new starting point for a better life for our iron brothers and sisters.

Conclusion

Chery’s new energy vehicles offer a green solution to Pakistan’s air pollution problem. With their PHEVs, Chery addresses the challenge of limited infrastructure needed to support a large-scale transport sector transformation. Chery’s Green Public Welfare Fund Plan also demonstrates the company’s commitment to corporate social responsibility in Pakistan. Chery is excited to introduce more new energy vehicles in Pakistan, helping to create a greener and more sustainable future for all.
